A Similan Islands premium catamaran tour, among the finest underwater scenery in the world, in the comfort of the Once Phuket. Early morning hotel pick-up, welcome and breakfast in the Once Lounge at Thap Lamu pier, and departure at 10:00. You land at island no. 8, Koh Similan, famous for its huge granite formations, where you can stay on the beach or climb to Sailing Rock, the sail-shaped boulder, to look out over the archipelago. Then island no. 9, Koh Ba Ngu, for a snorkeling session among the corals, the buffet lunch at island no. 4, Koh Miang, and a last swim at island no. 7, Koh Payu, where the clear water lets you see the fish among the boulders. Sample Itinerary
Pick-up and transfer: departure from the hotel and comfortable transfer to Thap Lamu pier. (from Khao Lak the pick-up is between 08:40 and 09:10). The pick-up time depends on where your hotel is and is confirmed after booking.
Check-in at the Once Lounge: welcome at the exclusive Once Lounge, where you will enjoy a restoring breakfast while the guide introduces the program of the day.
Departure for the Similan Islands: boarding our premium catamaran and start of the sailing toward the archipelago.
Island no. 8 (Koh Similan and Sailing Rock): arrival at the main island, famous for its waters and for its huge granite formations. You can relax on the pristine beach or take on a short climb up to the viewpoint of “Sailing Rock”, shaped like a sail, for unforgettable photographs from above.
Island no. 9 (Koh Ba Ngu): we reach the northernmost island of the archipelago, renowned for its cliffs. Dive in for an incredible snorkeling session among the vivid corals and the extremely rich marine life that inhabits these waters.
Island no. 4 (Koh Miang): lunch break with a rich and tasty buffet served in a paradise setting. Afterwards, free time to enjoy the soft white sand beach and the visitor facilities of this exceptional island.
Island no. 7 (Koh Payu): one last exciting snorkeling stop surrounded by imposing granite boulders, where the incredibly clear water offers spectacular visibility over corals and fish.
Return and dinner: arrival at the pier. To round off the day in style, a relaxing dinner awaits you at the ONCE Lounge.

Please also bear in mind that sea excursions by speedboat are usually not suitable for pregnant women or for people with heart or back problems. What happens in case of bad weather?
Safety is our priority. If weather conditions make an activity dangerous or inadvisable, the excursion will be:
- Rescheduled: we will try to move the activity to another day of your trip.
- Replaced: if rescheduling is not possible, we will offer an alternative activity of equal value.
- Refunded: if neither rescheduling nor replacement is possible, you receive a refund for the excursion you were unable to take. Bank and collection fees on online payments are not refundable.
Please remember that rain during the wet season rarely spoils an entire day. You will always be informed in advance of any changes.
What are the pick-up times?
All meeting and pick-up details are clearly stated in your final travel documents (which you receive about 3 weeks before departure).
- Time: we will let you know the exact pick-up time. Please be ready at the agreed place at least 15 minutes beforehand.
- Pick-up point: in most cases the pick-up takes place directly in the lobby of your accommodation (if it lies within the areas covered by the service). If it does not, we will tell you the nearest meeting point.
What should I bring with me on the excursions?
For every excursion we provide a list of recommended items. In general, we always suggest:
- Suitable clothing: for example, long pants and no low-cut tops when visiting the Grand Palace in Bangkok, light and breathable clothes for hot areas, a swimsuit, or comfortable shoes for light trekking.
- Protection: hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
- Hydration: water, especially on hot days.
- Vouchers and documents: where required, a copy (digital or printed) of your booking voucher.
Are meals or drinks included during the tours?
