Phi Phi and 4 Islands Early Bird Tour from Krabi: Two Archipelagos, One Head Start
Krabi's two great boat trips are usually sold as separate days. This one puts them into a single itinerary and then moves the departure two hours ahead of everybody else's, which changes what you actually see. The first stop is Thale Waek, the separated sea, where a white sandbar surfaces at low tide and joins Koh Mor, Koh Tup and Chicken Island; at seven in the morning it belongs to whoever got there first. Maya Bay comes next, with the limestone walls above it and the jungle behind, well before the boats that fill it by mid-morning.
From there the day settles into the water. Pileh Lagoon is deep enough to swim and dive in properly, and quiet enough at that hour to hear your own voice come back off the rock. Snorkeling follows at Loh Samah or Nui Bay, then a long stop on Bamboo Island where lunch is served picnic-style on the sand. The way back down to Ao Nang picks up Chicken Island and Koh Poda for one last swim. It is a long day and an early alarm, and the trade is the one thing money cannot buy on this coast: these places without the crowds.

Pickup at your hotel reception (Krabi Town, Tubkaek, Klong Muang and Ao Nang), timed to get the boat out ahead of everyone else. At the end of the day you are driven back to your hotel.
The speedboat casts off from Ao Nang pier as soon as the group is on board.
The day opens at Thale Waek, the separated sea. You walk the white sandbar that links the islands with the water still and nobody else on it.
Arrival at the beach from the film “The Beach”. Because you left early, the bay and the jungle behind it are still close to empty.
Into the emerald lagoon to swim and dive off the boat, hemmed in by high limestone walls.
Photo stop at the cave where swiftlet nests are harvested, then a call at the beach where the wild macaques live.
Time in the water over the reef, among tropical fish and clear shallows.
A long stop on this flat coral island, where a picnic-style buffet is served on the sand.

What are the pick-up times?
All meeting and pick-up details are clearly stated in your final travel documents (which you receive about 3 weeks before departure).
- Time: we will let you know the exact pick-up time. Please be ready at the agreed place at least 15 minutes beforehand.
- Pick-up point: in most cases the pick-up takes place directly in the lobby of your accommodation (if it lies within the areas covered by the service). If it does not, we will tell you the nearest meeting point.
What should I bring with me on the excursions?

- Suitable clothing: for example, long pants and no low-cut tops when visiting the Grand Palace in Bangkok, light and breathable clothes for hot areas, a swimsuit, or comfortable shoes for light trekking.

- Hydration: water, especially on hot days.
- Vouchers and documents: where required, a copy (digital or printed) of your booking voucher.
