Surin Islands fast catamaran tour: an easier crossing, coral gardens on arrival
A Surin Islands catamaran tour with the same itinerary, between the Moken village and snorkeling on the corals of the national park, but aboard a steadier boat: more space, shaded areas and a steadier ride to make the crossing comfortable. It is the right choice for families and for anyone who suffers from seasickness. Pick-up between 05:30 and 06:40 (depending on where your hotel is), check-in at Namkhem Marina and departure at 09:30. Snorkeling in the currents of the Chong Kad channel and a visit to the Moken village, buffet lunch at the park restaurant, and in the afternoon Bon Bay or Mae Yai Bay and Pineapple Bay or Turtle Bay, where turtles are often seen. A welcome buffet at the pier on the way back. Equipment, the national park fee and transfers included.

Sample Itinerary
Pick-up from your hotel (Phuket) and transfer by minivan to the Namkhem Marina pier. (From Khao Lak, Khok-Kloy and Na-Tai the pick-up is at 07:30). The pick-up time depends on where your hotel is and is confirmed after booking.
Check-in at Namkhem Marina pier. Welcome with snacks, drinks and the handover of the snorkeling equipment (beach towel and fins included). Briefing with the guide.
Departure on a comfortable speed catamaran toward the Surin Islands.
Arrival at the National Park. First snorkeling stop in the life-rich currents of the channel and cultural visit to the Moken Village to discover the traditions of this ancient nomadic people.
Tasty buffet lunch served at the restaurant of the Surin National Park.
Afternoon dedicated to exploring the seabed at the most renowned spots of the archipelago, among coral gardens and schools of tropical fish.

What happens in case of bad weather?
Safety is our priority. If weather conditions make an activity dangerous or inadvisable, the excursion will be:
- Rescheduled: we will try to move the activity to another day of your trip.
- Replaced: if rescheduling is not possible, we will offer an alternative activity of equal value.
- Refunded: if neither rescheduling nor replacement is possible, you receive a refund for the excursion you were unable to take. Bank and collection fees on online payments are not refundable.
Please remember that rain during the wet season rarely spoils an entire day. You will always be informed in advance of any changes.
What are the pick-up times?
Pickup is at around 06:00 from your hotel, check-in at Namkhem Marina at 08:00 and departure at 09:00. Pickup from Khao Lak is confirmed case by case. Your final travel documents give the exact time; please be ready in the lobby 15 minutes early, because the catamaran leaves on schedule.
What should I bring with me on the excursions?
For every excursion we provide a list of recommended items. In general, we always suggest:
- Suitable clothing: a swimsuit under your clothes, something light to change into and comfortable shoes or sandals for walking on rock.
- Protection: hat, sunglasses and reef-safe sunscreen.
- Hydration: water, especially on hot days.
- Vouchers and documents: where required, a copy (digital or printed) of your booking voucher.
Are meals or drinks included during the tours?
Yes, three meals are included: a light breakfast at the pier, a buffet lunch at the national park restaurant and a welcome-back buffet at Namkhem with som tum, fried chicken and ice cream. Drinking water, soft drinks and fruit are on board all day. Let us know about allergies or intolerances when you book.
Can I cancel or change a single excursion?
