James Bond Island Speedboat Tour: Sea Caves, Mangroves and Khai Island
A James Bond Island speedboat tour: a day in Phang Nga Bay aboard a speedboat. Pick-up between 06:40 and 08:00 (depending on where your hotel is), check-in at Leam Nga pier with snacks, a briefing and the snorkeling gear, and departure at 09:30. First stop Panak Island, where you walk into the caves among stalactites and inner lagoons (which cave depends on the tide). Then James Bond Island, that is Khao Phing Kan and the Khao Tapu pinnacle, made famous by the film The Man with the Golden Gun, and a buffet lunch in the stilt village of Koh Panyee. In the afternoon a guided canoe ride through the mangroves of Hong Island and a stop at Khai Island, between turquoise water and snorkeling. Back at 17:00. Lunch, equipment, the national park fee and transfers included.

Sample Itinerary
Pick-up at your hotel (Phuket) and transfer by minivan to Leam Nga pier. (For those starting from Khao Lak, the time is to be confirmed). The pick-up time depends on where your hotel is and is confirmed after booking.
Check-in and welcome at the pier with snacks, drinks and an information briefing. Snorkeling equipment is handed out.
Departure from the pier toward the spectacular Phang Nga Bay by speedboat.
Exploration of the caves on foot, to admire the wonderful stalactites and the inner lagoons (the choice between Mangrove Cave and Ice-cream Cave depends on the level of the tide).

What happens in case of bad weather?
Safety is our priority. If weather conditions make an activity dangerous or inadvisable, the excursion will be:
- Rescheduled: we will try to move the activity to another day of your trip.
- Replaced: if rescheduling is not possible, we will offer an alternative activity of equal value.
- Refunded: if neither rescheduling nor replacement is possible, you receive a refund for the excursion you were unable to take. Bank and collection fees on online payments are not refundable.
Please remember that rain during the wet season rarely spoils an entire day. You will always be informed in advance of any changes.
What are the pick-up times?
All meeting and pick-up details are clearly stated in your final travel documents (which you receive about 3 weeks before departure).
- Time: we will let you know the exact pick-up time. Please be ready at the agreed place at least 15 minutes beforehand.
- Pick-up point: in most cases the pick-up takes place directly in the lobby of your accommodation (if it lies within the areas covered by the service). If it does not, we will tell you the nearest meeting point.
