Premium Catamaran Phi Phi Tour: What a Day on Board Looks Like
The “Once Phuket” is a modern catamaran, and the difference shows the moment you step on board: two hulls instead of one, so the boat sits flat on the water and the crossing stays smooth even when the Andaman Sea is not. There is room to move around, sofas in the shade, and a crew that serves breakfast, a buffet lunch and a dinner box on the way home. Nobody spends eight hours wedged onto a bench.
The route covers the headline stops, Maya Bay, the emerald water of Pileh Lagoon, the limestone face of Viking Cave, the sand at Bamboo Island, but the day is paced so that you arrive, swim and get back on board without being hurried. The last stop is Maiton Island, where the catamaran turns into a small water park: a slide off the deck, clear-bottomed kayaks, paddle boards, and a fair chance of spotting the dolphins that live around the island.

Sample Itinerary
Pickup at your hotel reception for the transfer to Coco Pier. Check-in, a short safety briefing and a light welcome breakfast while the boat is made ready.
You board the premium catamaran “Once Phuket” and head for Bamboo Island. There is time to lie on its fine white sand or swim in the clear shallows before the boat turns toward the Phi Phi archipelago.
Arrival in the heart of Phi Phi for a Thai buffet lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch the boat stops at Monkey Bay, where the resident macaques come down to the rocks, and there is snorkeling over the colorful coral just offshore.
Time at Maya Bay, the beach from the film “The Beach”, then a slow pass inside Pileh Lagoon, ringed by tall limestone cliffs. Photo stop at Viking Cave on the way out.
Stop at Maiton Island, where the catamaran becomes a private water park. The slide comes down off the deck, and there are clear-bottomed kayaks and paddle boards to take out while you scan the water for dolphins.
The catamaran starts the crossing back to Coco Pier while a light dinner box is served on board. At the end of the day you are dropped back at your hotel.

What are the pick-up times?
All meeting and pick-up details are clearly stated in your final travel documents (which you receive about 3 weeks before departure).
- Time: we will let you know the exact pick-up time. Please be ready at the agreed place at least 15 minutes beforehand.
- Pick-up point: in most cases the pick-up takes place directly in the lobby of your accommodation (if it lies within the areas covered by the service). If it does not, we will tell you the nearest meeting point.
