When the sun goes down Bangkok switches on the neon and shows a different character. This evening is built so you move through it the way locals do, in the most recognizable vehicle in the country: the tuk-tuk.
The night opens at Pak Khlong Talat, an enormous flower market that never shuts, where the garlands of jasmine, marigold and orchid used in temples across the capital are put together by hand. From there we drive into Yaowarat, the heart of Chinatown: a dense grid of lanes where century-old Sino-Thai traditions sit beside one of the best street food scenes in Asia, and this is the stop the eating is really about. The last stop is Khao San Road, where open-air massage chairs, street performers and travelers with backpacks from every corner of the world keep going late. It is loud, informal and unpretentious, and it is the side of Bangkok nightlife people come back talking about.

Sample Itinerary
Pickup from your hotel reception. We open the night by cutting through the lit streets of the city in a traditional tuk-tuk, which is the most direct way into the evening energy of Bangkok.
The first stop is all color and scent: Pak Khlong Talat, open 24 hours a day and the largest flower market in Thailand. Worth knowing: the intricate garlands of orchid, jasmine and marigold that decorate the temples and are carried in ceremonies across the city are assembled at these very stalls.
Back in the tuk-tuk and into the middle of Yaowarat. At night Chinatown turns into a dense, loud maze of alleys under neon signs. We work through the old quarter as a food route, moving from the busiest street food carts to small traditional restaurants, surrounded by spice smoke and Sino-Thai trading traditions that go back generations.
The last stop is Khao San Road, the landing place of backpackers from all over the world. The atmosphere is electric: a constant flow of people, street performers, massage shops open until late and endless stalls selling crafts and food from every corner of the globe. It is the most informal and the most entertaining side of a night in the capital.

- Refunded: if neither rescheduling nor replacement is possible, you will receive a full refund for the excursion you were unable to take.

What are the pick-up times?
All meeting and pick-up details are clearly stated in your final travel documents (which you receive about 3 weeks before departure).
- Time: we will let you know the exact pick-up time. Please be ready at the agreed place at least 15 minutes beforehand.
- Pick-up point: in most cases the pick-up takes place directly in the lobby of your accommodation (if it lies within the areas covered by the service). If it does not, we will tell you the nearest meeting point.
What should I bring with me on the excursions?
For every excursion we provide a list of recommended items. In general, we always suggest:
- Suitable clothing: for example, long pants and no low-cut tops when visiting the Grand Palace in Bangkok, light and breathable clothes for hot areas, a swimsuit, or comfortable shoes for light trekking.
- Protection: hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
- Hydration: water, especially on hot days.
- Vouchers and documents: where required, a copy (digital or printed) of your booking voucher.
Are meals or drinks included during the tours?
