Sample Itinerary

On arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport, a member of our staff will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign bearing your name, and will take you by private transfer to your chosen hotel. Once you are settled in, you meet our English-speaking representative for a welcome briefing on your trip, with help for the first practical things: changing money and setting up a SIM card for data.

After breakfast, pickup at your hotel reception at 08:30 and departure for the Chinatown district and the guided tour of the Grand Palace and the temples of Bangkok. You visit Wat Traimit, home to the largest solid gold Buddha image in the world, and the Grand Palace with Wat Phra Kaew, the temple of the Emerald Buddha and the spiritual heart of the kingdom. After a break for a typical Thai lunch you carry on to Wat Pho, known for the 46-meter gilded Reclining Buddha, and finally to Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, reached by a short crossing of the Chao Phraya. At the end of the day, transfer to your hotel.

A free day to explore Bangkok on your own, between the elevated trains and the canals (khlong) off the Chao Phraya. You can also join one of our optional excursions, to Ayutthaya or Kanchanaburi for example, if you would rather have the day planned for you.

After breakfast, check out of the Bangkok hotel and take a private transfer to the airport for the direct flight to Koh Samui. On arrival our driver takes you by private transfer to your chosen resort. Rooms are available from 14:00; until then you can leave your luggage and use the facilities, from the pool to the restaurant and the common areas. The rest of the day is yours, for resting or for an optional trip out.

A full day free, for the beaches or the water. You can also add one of the optional trips run by Thailand Fantastic and see more of the coast and the islands nearby.

A day at one of the finest island groups in Thailand. Pickup at your hotel between 07:30 and 08:30, transfer to the pier and then a speedboat out to the 42 limestone islands of the Ang Thong National Marine Park. You will see the Emerald Lagoon, a jade-colored lake set in the cliffs, and climb the trail on Koh Mae Koh to the 360-degree viewpoint over the archipelago. After a Thai buffet lunch, the afternoon is for snorkeling, kayaking and the white sand. At the end of the day, transfer to your hotel.

After check-out from the resort, a private driver takes you to the port for the ferry to Chumphon. At the pier on the other side our driver will be waiting to continue by private vehicle to your hotel in Hua Hin. At the end of the day, transfer to your hotel.

After breakfast, pickup at your Hua Hin hotel with a private driver and departure for the coastal Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park. From the fishing village of Ban Bang Pu a short longtail boat ride brings you to the white sand of Laem Sala Beach, where a climb of about 400 meters through tropical forest leads to the cave of Phraya Nakhon: sunlight falls through the open roof onto the royal pavilion of Kuha Karuhas. You then walk back down to the beach for lunch at a restaurant on the shore, with time to relax. In the early afternoon you return by boat and continue to Bangkok, arriving in the late afternoon. End of our services.

The itinerary may change due to weather conditions or other unforeseeable circumstances.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a custom tour with Thailand Fantastic work?

You can draw inspiration from our sample itineraries, or we can create a trip tailored 100% to you. We will work together to define every detail according to your wishes, your specific needs, your budget and your dates.

What happens after I contact you?

One of our English-speaking consultants will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your enquiry.

  • Introductory call: we will get in touch to arrange a short call. This allows us to explore your travel idea and understand the character you would like to give your adventure.
  • Receiving the proposal: you will receive a detailed quotation, free of charge and with no obligation.

What does the price of the trip include?

The price of the trip includes all the services, any domestic flights and the accommodation mentioned in the programme we have proposed to you (for example: overnight stays, transport, excursions and any other experience specified).

Do I need a visa to visit Thailand?

Entry requirements for Thailand depend on your nationality, so there is no single answer that applies to every traveler. As of August 2026, citizens of more than 90 countries can enter for tourism without a visa and are granted a 60-day stay on arrival, extendable once by a further 30 days at an immigration office. Travelers from other countries must apply for a visa before they set off.

Two requirements apply to almost everyone: a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date you enter the country, and the Thailand Digital Arrival Card, which you complete through the online form before you arrive.

Important: always check the rules currently in force for your own nationality with the Thai embassy or consulate in your country before you book, as regulations can change quickly. If you are unsure, ask us and we will point you in the right direction.

When is the best time to visit Thailand?

Thailand enjoys a tropical climate, but the seasons vary from one region to another:

PeriodClimate and recommended areas
November - FebruaryCool season (high season): the best time of year. Ideal for the North and the Andaman Sea (Phuket, Krabi).
March - MayHot season: high temperatures. Excellent for the Gulf islands and for diving.
June - OctoberRainy season: short showers. The Gulf islands (Koh Samui) are often less affected.

  • Deposit: you will be asked for a deposit (30% or 50%), to be paid within 5 days in order to secure the services.
  • Balance: the balance must be paid no later than 40 days before departure.
  • Documents: no later than 3 weeks before departure, you will receive the complete itinerary with vouchers and confirmations.

  • Bank transfer: to a European bank account (in Euros) or directly to our Thai bank account.
  • PayPal: payment by PayPal is also possible.

How can I buy cancellation and/or medical and baggage insurance?

Your Travel Consultant will recommend the best insurance partners for your needs. On request, we can book the policy on your behalf, with a small handling fee for managing the paperwork.
