Ang Thong 3-Day Cruise: Time Enough for the Whole Archipelago
Two nights at anchor change what you can do in Ang Thong. The 42 islands stop being a checklist and become a place you move around slowly: two afternoons of kayaking between the pinnacles instead of one rushed hour, snorkeling stops that last as long as the water is worth it, the long walk up to the viewpoint on a morning when no boat is waiting for you, and Bua Boke Cave on the third day with the macaques usually somewhere in the trees above. The Wassana VIP is a wide, comfortable boat with three cabins, a sun terrace and the choice of a hammock or a mattress on the bow. Every breakfast, lunch and dinner is cooked on board. Take a berth on the shared departure, or book the whole boat.

Sample Itinerary
Meet at 09:20 at our shop in Mae Haad, Koh Tao, and cast off at 09:30. Around three hours of sailing (depending on sea conditions) bring you to Ang Thong National Park. Between Koh Tao and the archipelago we stop at Koh Wao or Koh Nippon for a first session over coral and tropical fish, with lunch served on board. In the afternoon you explore the islands by kayak and reach the viewpoint above the Emerald Lagoon. The day closes with dinner on board and the first night at anchor, rocked by the sea.
After breakfast on board you take on a walk of about 40 minutes to the viewpoint on the main island, with a sweeping view over the whole archipelago. Back on the boat for lunch, then the afternoon goes to another kayak trip and to the white sand beaches. At the end of the day, dinner and a second night on board.
You start with breakfast on board, then a walk of about 20 minutes leads to the striking Bua Boke Cave and its stalactites and stalagmites. Keep your eyes open: you may spot the macaques that live on the island. After lunch on board the boat sets course back to Koh Tao, arriving at around 16:00 at the starting point in Mae Haad.
The itinerary may change due to weather conditions or other unforeseeable circumstances.

What does the price of the trip include?
The price of the trip includes all the services, any domestic flights and the accommodation mentioned in the programme we have proposed to you (for example: overnight stays, transport, excursions and any other experience specified).
Do I need a visa to visit Thailand?
Entry requirements for Thailand depend on your nationality, so there is no single answer that applies to every traveler. As of August 2026 citizens of more than 90 countries can enter Thailand for tourism without a visa and are granted a 60-day stay on arrival, extendable once by a further 30 days at an immigration office. The Thai government has approved a reduction to 30 days that has not yet come into force, and travelers from other countries must apply for a visa before travelling: always check the rules for your own nationality before you book.
Two requirements apply to almost everyone:
- Passport: it must normally be valid for at least 6 months from the date you enter the country.
- Digital Arrival Card: you are required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card through the online form before you arrive.
Important: please always check the rules currently in force for your own nationality with the Thai embassy or consulate in your country, or on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, as regulations can change quickly. If you are unsure, ask us and we will point you in the right direction.
When is the best time to visit Thailand?
Thailand enjoys a tropical climate, but the seasons vary from one region to another:

What happens when I book the trip?
Once the final quotation has been confirmed, the procedure is as follows:
- Deposit: you will be asked for a deposit (30% or 50%), to be paid within 5 days in order to secure the services.
- Balance: the balance must be paid no later than 40 days before departure.
- Documents: no later than 3 weeks before departure, you will receive the complete itinerary with vouchers and confirmations.
Which payment methods do you accept?
You can choose between several options:
- Bank transfer: to a European bank account (in Euros) or directly to our Thai bank account.
- PayPal: payment by PayPal is also possible.
How can I buy cancellation and/or medical and baggage insurance?
Your Travel Consultant will recommend the best insurance partners for your needs. On request, we can book the policy on your behalf, with a small handling fee for managing the paperwork.
Do you also offer international flights?
We do not have our own flight ticketing service, but we are happy to help you look for the best deals. We can handle the booking for you, with a small handling fee.
What if I can no longer travel? (trip cancellation)
Please refer to our Terms and Conditions. If you have cancellation insurance, you will be refunded by the insurance company. Without insurance, the penalties set out in the contract will apply.

Your peace of mind is our priority. Should anything go wrong, we will act promptly with our local partners to rearrange your itinerary, and you will have English-speaking assistance with you throughout the trip.
Where do you sleep during the cruise?
You sleep aboard the Wassana VIP, which has three comfortable cabins with beds (sheets, blankets and pillowcases are provided). You can also sleep in a hammock or under the stars on the foredeck, on comfortable mattresses. There is a shower on board as well: just bring your own towel.
What is the difference between the shared and the private cruise?
On the shared cruise you pay a per-person rate and share the boat with other guests (maximum 12 passengers); the departure is confirmed once a minimum number of participants is reached. On the private cruise the Wassana VIP is yours alone and the itinerary is flexible: the base rate covers up to 5 passengers, with a supplement for each additional passenger, up to a maximum of 12.
Is the park entrance fee included?
No, the national park fee is paid on site: 300 THB for foreign adults and 150 THB for foreign children.
What happens in case of bad weather?
Safety comes first. Depending on sea conditions, times and routes may change, and in some cases an early departure is necessary, with the rest of the day given over to snorkeling around Koh Tao. If need be, the activity is rescheduled or, where that is not possible, handled under the protections set out in our conditions. You will always be told in advance.
Can I carry on to Koh Samui or Koh Phangan after the cruise?
Yes. We can arrange the drop-off on the main island at around 12:00 on the third day. The ferry for Koh Samui leaves at about 15:00 and reaches Nathon at around 17:00; the one for Koh Phangan leaves at 16:00 and reaches Thong Sala at about 19:00. The ferry transfer costs 520 THB per person and is at your own cost.
